Kenechukwu “Kene” Esomchukwu is focused on coordinating the Start Now Incubator, an ONSIDE initiative.

Born in Nigeria, Kene has acquired diverse experiences in different sectors back home from working in Oil and Gas, E-commerce, Technology, and the Government.

After her undergraduate degree in Software Engineering from Staffordshire University, She moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue a Master's degree in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University. A former member of the Graduate Advisory Committee at Saint Mary’s University, she is all about community and loves contributing toward positive and impactful change.

Kene enjoys the simple things in life, like a great night out with friends, walking in the park, or reading one of her favourite African contemporary literature.
