About Mashup Lab: Mashup Lab is all about making entrepreneurship approachable and empowering aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into successful businesses. Based in a small rural community on the south shore of Nova Scotia, we've supported nearly 3,000 aspiring entrepreneurs in over 80 rural communities throughout rural North America since 2014.
About Coralus: Launched in Canada in 2015 as SheEO, their visionary model for a new economy is now in the US, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Originally an experiment in more equitable funding for women and nonbinary folk, they quickly saw spillover benefits from our community-driven, trust-based ethos.
In 2022, the organization was renamed as Coralus, reflecting their evolution from the individual (“SheEO”) to the collective (“Coralus”), and began inviting other communities to iterate on their regenerative capital model.
About the Start Now Incubator: The Start Now Incubator supports Canadian women entrepreneurs trying to build or grow a business, with a focus and commitment to rural, indigenous, diverse, and underserved women. Within a hybrid community of intersectional women, you’ll unearth renewed confidence and tactics to help you start and grow your dream business.
With funding and support from the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy Fund (WES), Start Now Incubator will strengthen capacity and address ecosystem gaps for diverse populations of women entrepreneurs, including rural and underserved women.
About ONSIDE: A community accelerator empowering rural and underrepresented groups through inclusive innovation-driven entrepreneurship and collective impact.
